GRYPH App Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms apply to the GRYPH mobile app provided by Gryphen Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom. Please read them alongside our App Privacy Policy.
What GRYPH does
GRYPH helps you discover films and programmes, make viewing decisions, save choices and find where content may be available. GRYPH is a discovery service, not a streaming service: watching content may require a separate provider account, subscription, rental or purchase. Third-party providers set their own prices, availability, access requirements and terms.
Accounts and age
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. GRYPH asks whether you are 18 or older, under 18, or prefer not to say. This is a self-declaration, not identity verification. Under-18 users should involve a parent or guardian where appropriate or legally required. Content ratings and suitability vary; a parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising younger viewers. We do not serve conventional advertising to users who declare they are under 18 or do not confirm adult eligibility.
Free and GRYPH+
GRYPH offers a free tier which may display clearly labelled advertising to eligible adults, subject to applicable privacy choices. GRYPH+ is an optional paid subscription offering additional features and no conventional advertising. The current price, billing period, features and any trial will be shown before you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are billed and managed through the relevant app store. Unless you cancel in time under the store's terms, subscriptions may renew automatically; cancellation normally stops future renewals rather than immediately ending access. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the store used to purchase it. Refunds and any applicable cancellation rights are handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant store process. Nothing here removes your statutory consumer rights.
Household sharing
Where included in your GRYPH+ plan, household sharing allows up to four separate accounts within one household, subject to the feature rules shown in the app. Members retain their own private account information. Only items deliberately shared through household features are intended to be visible to other members. Access to paid household features depends on the household subscription remaining active and the member remaining eligible.
Content information and third-party links
We aim to provide useful recommendations and accurate availability information, but catalogues, schedules, prices, rights and links can change. Check the provider's own service before paying or making viewing arrangements. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of availability or suitability. Links may open services outside GRYPH, whose terms and privacy notices apply.
Using GRYPH responsibly
Use GRYPH for lawful personal purposes. Do not interfere with the service or its security, misuse other people's accounts, scrape or redistribute our catalogue at scale, or copy GRYPH software or content except where the law permits. Rights in third-party titles, images and trademarks remain with their respective owners.
Changes, suspension and deletion
We may improve, change or discontinue features, taking reasonable care and giving notice where required, particularly for material changes to paid services. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful activity or serious misuse. You may delete your account through the app. Account deletion does not itself cancel an Apple or Google subscription: cancel separately through the relevant store to prevent future renewals.
Our responsibility and your rights
We provide GRYPH with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every third-party listing will always be correct. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights and remedies that UK consumer law protects. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Contact and updates
For privacy requests, use our privacy request form. For other support, use the support contact provided in GRYPH or its app-store listing. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated where required.
